1. What is Qantas?

Qantas is the flag carrier of Australia. Qantas fly to many destinations in the world including Asia, Europe and etc... Apart from the international flights that Qantas operates, Qantas also operates domestic and regional flights within the span of Australia.

Qantas operates budget airliner name Jetstar Airways in international and domestic to offer passengers to wide range of options to choose in-between. Qantas operates long distance flights to Singapore via Airbus A380 fleet and to many other destinations which are profitable for Qantas.

Qantas is the largest airliner in Australian region by it's fleet. Passengers have kept trust with Qantas for un-compromised quality of service in the region. Qantas operates from the main hub in Sidney Airport currently.

2. History

Qantas was founded in 16th of November 1920 and started operations in March 1921 with domestic flights. Qantas started international flight in May 935. Qantas was the founder of the OneWorld Alliance program which offer customers and airlines with better benefits. Qantas is currently headquartered in Mascot, Sidney, Australia.
