1. What is Nissan?

Nissan is a Japanese Multinational Automaker. Nissan manufacture sedans, coupes, SUVs, hybrid vehicles and fully electrified under the Nissan brand. Nissan also manufacture luxury vehicles under the Infiniti brand. Nissan also does own Datsun brand.

Nissan's product line under the Nissan brand name does have a wide range of products which suites wider market segment in the global market share. Nissan is the worlds largest electrified vehicle manufacture in the world as of 2018 April. As of 2013 Nissan was the sixth largest automaker in the world.

2. History

Nissan was founded by Masujiro Hashimoto, Kenjiro Den, Rokuro Aoyama, Meitaro Takeuchi, Yoshisuke Aikawa and William R. Gorham in 26th December 1933. After the initial founding of the company, Nissan does have a long history into the company stability and the organization structure.

Nissan is currently traded publicly on the Tokyo Stock Exchange  and currently headquartered in Yokohoma, Japan.
