1. What is Mazda?

Mazda is an auto manufacture based in Japan which serves global automobile markets. Mazda was initially popular for the engine that they manufactured into a car. Mazda introduced the Rotary engine which were mainly used in the the airplanes.

Mazda does manufacture cars, SUVs in major and does also develop hybrid vehicles with the use of SkiActive usage.

2. History

Mazda was founded by Jujiro Matsuda in 30th January 1920. The initial name of Mazda was known as Toyo Cork Kogyo Co., Ltd. The initial company was headquartered in Hiroshima, Japan. Mazda was into multiple businesses in the manufacturing industry including tools, military weapons and etc...

Just like many other older companies in the Japan, Mazda also went through the world war and got destructed with the Hiroshima bombing. Mazda has formed partnerships with the American Automobile manufacture Ford which allowed Mazda to gain capital injection against shares of Mazda and to sell Mazda vehicles in the American regions.

Mazda is currently traded publicly on Tokyo Stock Exchange and currently headquartered in Hiroshima, Japan.
