Chevrolet is an American Automobile brand which does manufacture wide range of automobile products which suites multiple market segments in major. Chevrolet manufactures SUVs, Pickup trucks, Sedans, Coupes for normal daily use. Apart from the normal daily usable product lineup, Chevrolet does manufacture commercial vehicles including cargo vans, passenger vans and single cab lorries.

Chevrolet's product lineup is consist of internal combustion engines and fully electrified vehicles in major. Chevrolet also owns the performance automobile models including Camro and Corvette. Chevrolet vehicles are popular in the American region, middle east and other parts of the vehicle due to the extreme performance and build quality of the products.

Chevrolet is founded by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant in 3rd of November 1911 in USA. In the early days of the organization they were manufacturing cars and many were into the performance sector which can perform better. With the profitable business in place, Chevrolet was acquired for the voting shares of GM in 1917.

Chevrolet soon started manufacturing pickup trucks to cater the market demand. After manufacturing automobiles for multiple years and doing good business company expanded the business into making fully electrified and plugin hybrid automobiles which was demanding at the time in the global markets and majorly in the American markets.

After the acquisition of General Motors, Chevrolet was operating as a division of the General Motors. Chevrolet is currently headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, United States of America.
