1. What is Booking.com?

Booking.com is a logging and hotel room reservation aggregator which allows users to search and reserve a logging place including hotels, home stays, apartments and etc... 2. History

Booking.com is a subsidiary brand owned by Booking Holdings. Booking.com is a merger of two companies which was booking.nl founded by Geert-Jan Bruinsma in 1996 and Bookings Online which was founded by  Sicco, Alec Behrens, Marjin Muyser and Bas Lemmens.

Both the companies merged together in year 2000 to operate as Bookings.org. Which later changed the domain to booking.com. Booking.com/ Booking Holdings is currently headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
