1. What is iOS 9?

Apple Inc announced iOS 9 on 8th June 2015 at the annual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference also known as WWDC. iOS 9 released on 16th September with the Apple iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPad Mini 4.

iOS 9 was marked as limited support on iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and iPad 3, iPad Mini 1st generation, iPod Touch 5th generation devices. After the initial release of iOS 9 there were 11 releases made to iOS 9 by Apple Inc to ensure smoother user experience.
