1. What is Gmail?

Gmail is an E-Mail service developed by Google Inc to use for free which allows users to create an email account with a custom address which is also subjected to availability to send and receive E-Mails.

Gmail is a type of a webmail service Initially Gmail offered 1GB of space to Gmail users to store their emails which was a huge amount that time in 2004 and in 2013 Google announced that they will offer 15GB for a Gmail account which can be shared between Photos, Google Drive and Google +.

Gmail was launched in 1st of April 2004 and as of April 2018 Gmail does have 1.4 billion users. Paul Buchheit was the lead developer for Gmail project.

Brand name Gmail and the product owns by the Google Inc which became Alphabet Inc after the restructuring Google.
