Kodak is founded by Goerge Eastman in 1888. From the beginging of the organization Kodak was an American company which focused on developing photo films for cameras and video cameras which used film type rolls to capture the images.

Kodak got a competitive time in sales after Fujifilm entered to the US markets with lower priced films and imaging products for the photography industry.
