iOS 7 is the 7th major upgrade made to the iOS mobile operating system platform for Apple Inc's handheld devices. iOS 7 was announced in 10th of June 2013 at the Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference also known as WWDC event and the very first devices which hit the market was iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S.

Apple dropped the support to iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 4th generation devices due to exiting hardware in the devices could not cater the customer experience and performance with iOS 7.
