Full Sized SIM card is the very first generation of the Subscriber Identity Module which introduced to the general public. By using the Full Sized SIM card, people used to insert the full size SIM card into the back of the telephones which are capable of reading the full size SIM cards and used to make calls with the available credit balance of the SIM.

The size of the full size SIM card was 85.60 mm X 53.98 mm X 0.76 mm. Which is a similar size to the credit card. The full size SIM card is known as the 1st form factor SIM card or 1FF SIM card.

Full size SIM cards were introduced in 1991 under the standard reference of ISO/IEC 7810:2003, ID-1. With the evolution of the devices and cellular mobile networks, the SIM cards also got smaller in size and got advanced features into the SIM card.
